Hello sparkleeees! When I said you can style this denim button-up with anything - clearly I meant it. When I threw this outfit together in Kurdistan, I was inspired by the Kurdish sequin pants that the culture wears underneath our traditional Kurdish dresses (it's a custom that's been around for decades). They are handmade to perfection. I've gone through so many sparkly colored pants since I was a kid that I wish I saved them for my future daughter (after I try really hard to squeeze into them myself). It's so crazy to see it today evolve into a modern day trend that daring fashionistas are styling into their wardrobes. Mainstream/designer brands like Moschino have also made it look chic from the runway to the realway. I'm glad this trend has come out from hiding and is inspiring women of all shapes and sizes to embrace sexy pants in a classy way. For me personally, it's inspiring to wear them out with a purpose that's no longer just for hiding underneath my pretty Kurdish dress.
