If only you knew how hot it felt outside when I was in the desert last weekend. You would think naturally I can handle the heat (it's because I'm middle-eastern!) but I was dying inside. Nonetheless it was worth it because I got to experience a taste of Palm Springs during Coachella weekend (and get a little tan while I was at it!). Palm Springs is one tough cookie, but thank God this romper was keeping me alive and cool (for the most part). The palm tree details and bright green and orange color make this Coachella OOTD fun and vibrant. I always feel like I hit the jackpot when I find a matching color bag like this one. Ya'll know I'm not a big accessories/jewelry gal but it's Coachella!, so I spruced up my outfit a bit with a cute floppy hat and gypsy necklace.

My day trip to Coachella was mostly for the experience and events/parties that were happening. I didn't actually get a chance to check out the festival but it's okay because I was a happy gal getting to sit poolside all day and catch up with blogger friends at the Marc Jacobs' and Lacoste's pool parties. So fun! It was also my 'cheat day' so obviously french fries were a must. And fortunately, the drive home wasn't so bad thanks to the pretty scenic view.
Where to next? I'm heading back to Dallas early next week (yay!!) for the Reward Style Conference. Can't wait to share that travel diary + all the outfits I have planned. Woo!
P.S Don't forget my event at Eva Mendes pop-up shop at Beverly Center mall is tomorrow! Wooo! I hope some of you can come out - I would love to meet you! Details..
