This coming weekend is going to be a big-time celebration. I've been counting down the days and can't believe my May 8th wedding date is tomorrow!
Before I say "I do", there is a special date that needs to be had in celebration 0f Mother's Day on Sunday. I recently shared how excited I am to add a new mom into my life. I decided to pick Mrs. H up from the airport when she arrived into town yesterday and to celebrate the joy of getting another mom! Of course I had to bring her a little surprise. It goes without saying the little gift I got her is nothing compared to the huge gift she is in my life. When I surprised her with this Coach watch, she instantly mentioned how watches are her favorite accessory. Score! Thankfully, she doesn't have a rose gold watch in her collection so this was the perfect Mother's Day gift for her.
As cheesy as this may sound, she's been an amazing 'coach' during the most transitional season of my life. She is the type of person who listens to every word you say and will inspire you with what she says! Some of the best advice she's given me on how to be a great mom (like her) is to simply be PATIENT.
If there is one thing I can't be patient about, it's marrying her son tomorrow. Ha! I can't help but stare at my pretty watch as the time passes one hour, minute, second closer to me becoming a bride. I hope you guys cherish your day with the mothers and women who have made an impact in your life.
