Looking for the perfect Mother's Day gift idea? Here's what I'm thinking..
One of the many perks I’m looking forward to after saying “I Do” is the extended family I’m going to gain from my marriage. Ironically, my wedding will be on Mother’s Day weekend this year, so I’ll get to share the celebration day with my new mom! The older I get, the more respect I have for a mother’s unconditional love for her family. I seriously dream about the day I become a mom and it gives me goosebumps (the excited kind). I am blessed to already have such an incredible mom who I am forever grateful for. To add another “super mom” into my life feels like I have won the mommy lottery.
You know in the movies when they compare Mother in Laws to crazy nightmares? Well, that's definitely not the case here. I lucked out because Mrs. Hendrix has been so kind and loving since day 1 that I met her. Anytime she would come into town, people thought she was my mom in public before Stevie's mom. She can totally pass as Kurdish! Anyways, I thought how in the world is this woman a mother of four children? She's stunning! Fast forward to now. It's been such a blessing getting to have a positive, loving and faithful woman of God in my life the past few years. During challenging times, she's always been there to support and encourage my relationship with her son. Stevie and I look up to her in so many ways especially when it comes to organization, health and fitness, and staying grounded. She's a rockstar!
Thanks to Coach, I'm super excited I get to surprise her with a matching rose-gold watch for Mother's Day. Ironically, I learned that Coach is one of her favorite brands after gifting her a pair of my Coach sandals last year. For this special occasion, I wanted to get her something feminine and timeless that she can wear all the time. Classic in design, I knew this watch would be the perfect piece for her busy lifestyle. It's an easy watch to transition from day to night.
