I’m back in the States but still living in the European state of mind (aka I'm super jet lag). I'm already taking a look back on my adventure in Europe and wishing I could have spent more time in all of the amazing countries we got to see. Let’s rewind back to the first stop on our European Discovery Trip with Contiki shall we?First stop: London England. Stevie and I landed in London early in the morning on May 27th. I like that we got there early because we were able to fight off the jet lag with our excitement to explore the city. My first thought arriving in London was omg I love the English accents. ha! I kept trying to rock the accent and I sucked at it! During our London trip, we indulged in all of the touristy stuff since it was mine and Steve's first time seeing the UK. We got a fast pass and decided to jump on the London Eye where we got an amazing view of the city. We were so mesmerized by the Parliament building and all of the historical statues surrounding it. I love how chill London is. No one seems to be in a rush - which is nice considering Los Angeles is the total opposite. We laid in a park for what seemed like hours one afternoon and enjoyed the london breeze and of course - people watching. I made up a game with Steve and told him every time we spot someone wearing a trench coat we had to kiss. Am I cheesy or am I cheesy?
Here are a few of my favorite looks that I wore in London. Keep in mind that I was only aloud to bring ONE SUITCASE (Contiki rules) with me for 20 days of traveling.
We spent a lot of time outside and it would get chilly so I took advantage of wearing this mod trench coat over and over again. It definitely came in handy!
This little chambray jumpsuit (ties at the waist!) was super comfy and great for exploring.
For our last night in London (I didn’t want to leave!) my sweet husband decided to take me out to a FANTASTIC restaurant called The Bull. I wore a little black romper from Misguided that you can style in 12 different ways. We had the most amazing Argentinian steaks that made both of our mouths water. SO GOOD!!!!!
The highlight of my London trip has got to be the meet and greet I organized with Virgos Lounge/V-Label. Five of my top followers were randomly selected to come have a tea party with me (the London way - aka at The House) and it was so perfect! We hung out for hours sipping' tea and eating triangle-cut sandwiches and sweets. My favorite part were the deep personal stories and laughs in between that I will never forget. #MyLondonBaes
Stevie was there too and being his crazy self. ha! When I learned that some of these sweet girls left their jobs and drove hours to come hang out with me for 2 hours - it truly felt undeserving. Words can't express how much my online family means to me. I am lucky to have so many incredible supporters. Can’t wait to do more meet and greets like this where I can really sit down and just hangout with you guys. It's my favorite perk from doing what I do!
My dress is V Label London ;)
London was just the beginning of an amazing time in Europe. Our adventure with Contiki continued with our next stop to Amsterdam and Germany! Stay tuned for my next entry…
