Howdy from Texas, ya'll! I just had to say that. ;) I am taking over my hometown in stripes and coral today. So excited that I was reunited with my Texas photog, Andy!! He's the best. I featured this skirt not too long ago, but this time around I paired it with a colorful spring sweater instead of the basic white button down for a more casual/city girl vibe. I'm short (5'2''- I know it doesn't look like it in my pics sometimes) so I can be very picky with my skirts. Especiallyyyyy if they hang past the knees because this can make you look shorter! This skirt changed my skeptical life because it fits like a glove (sucks everything in!) and doesn't swallow me up. Now skirts like this can definitely hang out with me. You don't really need any crazy jewelry for a style like this because it's already so poppin' with the color and print! I couldn't pass up on a cuff though - bracelets are definetly my weakness! Before I go can we just talk about these black lace-up style heels for a second. Notice they accessorize the outfit without all the extra accessories. Paired with a black-fringe messenger bag, this day-time chic look suddenly got real boho. And, I like it.I absolutely love being here in Texas (even though the weather is gloomy!) - I'm hopefully going to stick around for another week so I'm excited to share more of my hometown with you.
