Ladies cannot do without their purses as men cannot do without their cars. I can't remember the last time I left my house without a purse. Where else would I store my keys, phone, makeup and essentially, my entire life. Imagine life without a purse. #AHHHH We totally take it for granted. When I was prepping this post today, I realized the power of the handbag and decided to go on a little history adventure online to discover when the bag became an essential to the modern woman.I learned that it all started in the pre-1800 era with little pouches & pockets. The purse began as a symbol more than a fashion statement. In ancient times wedding, purses were used to fill with money to give to couples as a symbol of the womb, which would hopefully soon would be filled as well. Fast forward now to 2014. What once started as a little pouch has evolved in shape, style and meaning. Today the purse is one of the most important accessories in a girl's everyday outfit. When we get a glimpse at what's inside her bag, suddenly it gives us a glimpse into her life.

Experience the ultimate any day, anytime handbag from Kipling. I got this burgundy bag recently from Kipling's new Always On Collection just in time for fall. I may not be able to wear a cardigan anytime soon here in LA, but I'm slowly transitioning my summer wardrobe to fall by incorporating warmer tones and a change in accessories. The bag I'm rocking also comes with removable straps so you can wear it as a messenger bag as well. Gotta love versatility! P.S Make sure you RSVP to a fun event that Kipling is hosting. Learn all the details here.
Hope this post was insightful! Have a great week!
