KAT VON D Makeup
Many of you guys asked me on yesterday's selfie pic on my Instagram about my makeup so today I'm dishing the deets! I finally tried out some new products from Kat Von D makeup. Inspired by the inks of her high voltage tattoo studio, Kat Von D has created a high performance brand that is totally known for its long-wear, high pigment, and full-coverage collections. I've been using her concealer for years (under my eyes and around my nose) as many of you have seen in my Youtube videos, so I was excited to test out more of her products. I teamed up with Sephora to show you guys some of Kat's products that are absolute must-haves. The lipsticks are seriously my favorite. Check it out!
Eyes: For my eyes, I used Kat Von D's Chrysalis Eyeshadow Palette ($46) in the three silvery/grey shades. I used the darkest shade in the crease and mixed the shimmery silver with the matte grey. Next, I used Kat's INK eye-liner ($18) pen to create a smooth cat-eye on my upper lid. The pointy tip makes it super easy to create in one stroke. I finished it off with her Immortal Lash 24 Hour Mascara ($20) (it totes lasted all day FYI..)
Lips: My favorite part...duh! Can we just talk about how cute the studded packaging is? When are studs ever a bad thing? Never. If there's one thing about Kat Von D that I love, it's the bold lipstick she's always embracing. I knew she wouldn't disappoint me with her lipstick line. The pigment is super rich and even though it's matte, it won't dry out your lips. That's always a plus! I'm wearing her Studded Kiss Lipstick ($21) in Backstage Bambi. It's the perfect pink shade.
