Makeup news! The Charlotte Tilbury line at Nordstrom has officially landed! I obviously had to get my hands on some of her goodies considering Charlottle is a world-class makeup artist who knows a thing or two about makeup. The first thing that caught my interest was obviously tons of the really cool sets she has that makes it easy to re-create any look you're in the mood for.
I got The Rock Chick set which is all about the smokey eye and nude lip. It includes the following:- Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in The Rock Chick (0.18 oz.)- Feline Flick Eyeliner in Panther (0.03 oz.)- Full Fat Lashes Mascara in Glossy Black (0.27 oz.)- Cheek to Chic Blush in First Love (0.28 oz.)- Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Iconic Nude (0.04 oz.)- K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Nude Kate (0.12 oz.)- Lip Lustre Lip Gloss in Blondie (0.12 oz.)- Makeup bag
Step 1, Eyes: For the eyes, I am using Charlotte's The Rock Chick Luxury Eye Palette. If you look on the back of the palette, it has a box telling you the order of which shadow to apply first. Depending on the look you're going for, feel free to mix and match the order if you need to. I love how smooth the colors look on my eye-lid. Just the right amount of shimmer!After you've completed your eyeshadow look you can now apply the Feline Flick eye-liner to enhance the look. This eye-liner is my favorite thing I got. It has a precision tip that makes it so easy for you to create the perfect cat-eye. If you want your eyes to look super bold then just create a thicker line. So easy!
I am finishing it off with Charlotte's Full Fat Lashes mascara which totally make the lashes pop! Instantly you can notice what a difference mascara makes. I noticed my lashes didn't clump together and looked so perfect. I had to tell people, I swear they're real!
Step 2, Lips: For my lips, I started with the Lip Cheat liner to define the shape of my lips. This makes it so much easier to fill in when it comes time for lipstick. I applied the K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Nude Kate directly onto my lips. If you're like me and you love that extra gloss look then simply add your fave gloss or Charlotte Tilbury's Lustre Lip Gloss in Blondie. It's such a great nude shade to throw in your purse.
The finished look. So easy! This look is great for day or night. For day-time you can reduce the amount of smokey on the eyes.
