Merry Christmas Eve you guys! I've got a holiday inspired makeup post for you guys! Today's beauty post is inspired by one of my favorite holiday makeup looks. I snapped a couple of selfies in the car yesterday to share my love for the bold red lip! A bright red lip puts me in the holiday spirit every year and makes the perfect statement.
I know that wearing any sort of color on your lips can get messy - trust me I've been there. And if you're a big kisser kind of person? Forget about it. The most annoying thing I've experienced is always finding red lipstick stains on my chin after I'm done eating. Why in the world does that happen!? ha! Anyways, I found this new matte lipstick from Mac x Nasty Gal which hasn't disappointed me (or stained my chin) yet. I also like that it doesn't dry out my lips even though it's a matte lipstick.
Here are some (not all) of the key products I used to achieve this look. Not sure if you can tell or not, but I'm wearing a new oil-free liquid foundation! I recently learned that the Laura Mercier oil-free liquid foundation I was using was taken off of the shelves because they are re-vamping the product. In the meantime, I've been on the hunt for a new one. I was also inspired by the new year, new beginnings motto. Yesterday was literally the first time I wore my new Hourglass foundation out and about. Obviously I had to take a million selfies to see how well it photographs. #SazanSolutions So far, so good! I like that this one is also matte/oil-free like my old Laura Mercier foundation BUT it has a luminous finish that makes my face glow more! Looooove.Hope you enjoyed this post!
