Happy almost Friday! Today I'm sharing this look I wore a couple days ago to Just Fab's fun blogger house party. I got so many compliments on this outfit! I simply dressed up a graphic tee ("Don't be a Bully" - great cause!) with this colorfully pleated floral skirt showing that casual and fancy can totally date. Think Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City. Home girl rocked the effortless, "I'm not trying but I look chic" style like it was no body's business.
I think the key for achieving a style like this is to simply not think so hard about it. Go for that simple tee hanging in the back of your closet and pair it up with a girlier/fancier bottom. Why not!? I am always so inspired by color - so I will just recommend that the color palette in your outfit should make sense. I love when I find a shoe that matches a pop of color in my outfit perfectly. Who would have thought these hot heels could bring out the red in the skirt (in a subtle way) which I love. The fringe detail also makes the shoe a great accessory-aka no need to get cray-cray adding more accessories.
Hope you loved this look. It's outfits like this that are always fun to look back on! Hope my tips inspire your next outfit idea!
Cheers. xx
