Sometimes you grab the closest shirt to you and throw it on over a pair of denims and sneakers. This was the case for this little outfit. It's no secret that I love being a girly girl with my high heels and bold statement pieces. I'll admit though, I have those simple days when I'm running around casually (trying to beat the heat!) with minimal makeup and accessories. Less can totally mean more when you bring your confident and sassy attitude to whatever outfit you're wearing.
I really love that the denim skirt is back in style. I never really got to rock them when I was a young teen in the 90's because my legs were hairy and my mom wouldn't let me shave them. ha! #sazanprobs I'm glad I get a second chance now to rock the trend without the extra fuzzz.;) Go for a high-waisted and distressed skirt option like mine for a more modern look. Since we're talkin' about the 90's want to know another trend I did rock everyday back in the day? Converse sneakers. Who didn't! I went through a punk rock phase and thought it was cool to wear them in like every color. I should have saved them all (pretty sure my feet are still the same size. ha!) because now they're super chic for dressing down a feminine look!
Oh how I loved the 90's.
