I'm back in LA after a fun-filled past two weeks of traveling. As many of you know, my husband Stevie has always been the mystery man behind the camera taking all of my pictures when we travel. He's a big part of my world so when I asked him to step in front of the cameras for a his and her style post on my blog - I knew it was going to be a walk in the park. Literally. ;)
Stevie's got style and swag. The day before we traveled, he went thrift store shopping on his own and came back with 4 big bags of clothing. My first reaction? DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING OUT OF THOSE BAGS UNTIL I WASH THEM. (such a clean freak thanks to my Kurdish mama) Later that evening, I walked into our living room and found him on the floor cutting sleeves off shirts and pairing outfits together for New York. It was hilarious! What's funnier is the fact that he did such an amazing job re-inventing the pieces he bought. If I did that I would have failed miserably. I can't cut a straight line for the life of me. Is there anything this kid can't do!?We decided to escape the NYFW madness and take a stroll in Central Park on one of the last days in NYC. It felt like fall outside! Our photographer friend Matt was in town so snapped these photos of us. It was hard to get Stevie to stand still and pose. The goof ball is used to being behind the camera shouting out random things in his crazy accents to get that candid laugh pic from me. ha!
