By now, you guys know I'm obsazzed with color. The older I'm getting (OMG 5 years from 30!!!!) the more my style is becoming more sophisticated slash minimal chic. I think the new haircut is also a reason for this. LOL Anyways, I'm focusing less on trends and trusting my mood/personality on a specific day to help get me dressed.
I had some downtime last week to shop and check out some of my favorite cheap-but-chic stores. I didn't realize that the Beverly Center mall in LA had a Uniqlo store (since when!!??) so I decided to check it out. Instantly, I was drawn to their baby blue cotton linen shorts that has a built-in little belt at the waist. I was drawn between this color and the military green shade. When I saw this baby blue striped button-up not too far away from the shorts I knew it was a sign I should keep the palette blue! This is a preppy and fun look that I decided to pair with heels to make it look more posh instead of school-girl. Ya feel me?
All I need now is The Hamptons. ;)
