Hello Bold Lips
Sometimes the only accessory your outfit really needs is a bold pop of color on the lips. When I said red was a hot trend in yesterday's post, I forget to mention how it's also a #winning color in the beauty-trends department. I recently shared my review on Smashbox Cosmetics 'Be Legendary' lip lacquer and couldn't get enough which is why I've come back for more. Today I put together an easy step-by-step process for how to achieve my bold red lips without the extra mess using an amazing lip duo from Smashbox. It's literally as easy as 1, 2, 3! P.S. STEP 1 : Start with a clean canvas (a.k.a. wipe + moisturize your lips!)
Step 2: Apply the lip-liner. The key for creating a straight line is to keep a steady hand. Outline one section at a time starting with the corners and working your way in. You don't have to outline your entire lips in one-stroke. Take your time! shop Smashbox Always Sharp Liner in Ruby
Step 3: Gently apply the lip lacquer to the inner most part of your lips. 1-2 coats usually does the job for me! It glides on very smooth and shiny. I like that it isn't sticky and doesn't feel heavy on my lips. shop Be Legendary Lip Lacquer in Firecracker
