Here are 5 interesting things you may or may not know about me..
- My first job? A bank teller. My high school in Frisco opened a credit union and I was so excited I got the job. It was my first job and I felt like a G handling money and stuff. Let's just say, I was 17 and math was not my best subject. I did sell the most checking accounts though because I lovedddddd talking to people. LOL!
- I used to eat fast food 2 times a day. This is actually really embarrassing now that I'm a health freak. The truth is, I never paid attention to what I ate. I simply listened to my taste buds and whatever I was craving I would indulge in. Sometimes I would get Taco Bell and KFC in the same day! I had a VERY high metabolism (Thank you Lord), but I was so out of shape. It was hard to be disciplined and still is when I visit Texas because there are food places everywhere! Thankfully my taco bell/KFC days are long over.some text
- I donated my bone marrow to my little brother. When my brother was 8, he was diagnosed with AML Leukemia on Christmas eve in 2008. Our lives completely changed that day. It was a miracle that we caught it early enough to treat him quickly. He was in remission after just one round of chemotherapy and radiation. The doctors recommended a bone marrow transplant for him after his was beaten up with all the toxic poisons which could cause future health problems later in his life. There were siblings so they tested each of us individually anticipating a "perfect match." Guess what? I was a 6 out of 6!! It was and will always be the best gift I've ever given to someone. I was 19 at the time and told myself if I never accomplished anything at least I had a purpose in someone else's life.some text
- A Big Pet Peeve? I hate when there's a straw inside of a soda can. I hate the noise it can be make when there's friction. It makes me cringe like nails on a chalkboard. #ImWeird
- Weird fact? I'm not a big meat eater, but I love steak. And by love, I mean when there's a good filet on the menu, you can order me a medium. MMMMMMMMM
